I am a jewelry designer that is inspired to create beautiful things from what others may have tossed aside.
I love the little details in items and my collections for designing jewelry are surely a reflection of that. I've always loved to collect and believe that this was an inborn trait I inherited from my Maternal Grandmother, and my talent to dig in piles of junk was learned early at the knees of my Mom in garage sales.
Found objects are often used in my designs such as vintage buttons, vintage jewelry pieces, cracker jack charms, coins, tokens, skeleton keys, scrabble tiles, beach glass, shells, rocks, dice, key holes, vintage crystal, vintage chandelier prisms and many other found objects which I turn over in my head until a design comes together. A creative mind rarely rests, and that is the story of my life.
I also enjoy recreating decorative objects from cast aside treasures as well, so will feature some of these on my blog as well.
I hope to do more tutorials in the future.
I am an avid slalom water skier, motorcycle driver, a wife and a mom to one precious daughter, Emily.
